Jax (aka Otto)'s Story
Little Jax (a.k.a. Otto) looks mostly like a very small Wire Haired Fox Terrier/ Cairn Terrier/ Miniature Schnauzer blend with his funny fuzzy little face and scruffy wire coat.

Jax (I also call him Otto – both names seem to fit him!) doesn’t shed so if you are allergic to dogs, he’s perfect for you.

Jax is a darling 1 ½ year old doll face who is friendly, feisty, sweet, clever, and affectionate.

He weighs only about 11 pounds fully grown, so you can carry him everywhere and he can travel with you on a plane easily in a carrier under the seat.

Jax has been loved, healthy, and handled since he was born – he is wonderfully social and is perfect with both men and women and even children. He is gentle and quiet – in fact, I’m not sure if I’ve ever heard him bark.

He’s also great with all the other dogs and kitties, and even with farm animals.

Jax was raised in a loving home with a woman who had severe diabetes. This lovely woman cleaned my vet’s office at night and always took Jax with her – of course, since the woman worked in a vet office, Jax got the best vet care, so he’s definitely a healthy, happy, social little monkey.

But then the saddest thing happened – Jax’s human mama died suddenly of diabetes which left Jax and two other little darlings, Coco Puff and Henry homeless.

Of course, Jax is neutered and up to date on all of his shots. I have his medical records for his new forever family.

He’s also house trained and crate trained, and loves to ride in the car.

I am a firm believer is having potential adopters take a pup home for a “sleepover” to see how your family, your other pets, and your new best buddy all get along. You can always take little Jax home to see how he adapts, and we always take our rascals back if they aren’t a good fit.

Please call
858-602-2061 or email findabesbuddy@gmail.com
for more information about sweet little Jax and all of our other wonderful foster buddies!
