Meet Jax
Jax is a two-year old Beagle mix. He is a high energy, vocal dog, as many Beagles are. He is a very affectionate dog though he can be very skittish at times, depending upon the situation.
Jax prefers that strangers or new people don't pet him right away, and he will shy away from them in that moment. He isn’t 100% housebroken and will go inside if left unsupervised, but will follow the rules when he has company and his regular schedule is adhered to.
Jax needs constant companionship and wouldn't do well in a household with people who aren't home a lot. He needs a pack-oriented family and does well with other pets.
Jax needs ongoing training and reinforcement for both in and out the house. Despite his issues, he is a VERY loving dog and will 100% take to any family who accepts him and provides him with the love and strong support that he needs.
