Jax's Story

Hello from Columbia, Connecticut! I’m Jax. A cool Pitbull/Cattle Dog mix about 1.5 years old, and I weigh about 45 lbs. I was a stray dog in Texas, taken in by a rescue dog sanctuary. I was safe and fed, but I’m a super nice dog who deserved to live in a home with people and fun things to do, and that's where 4 Little Paws Rescue came in. Bless my lucky stars when they paid for a 2-month “Board & Train” in Columbia, CT, and that’s where I am currently staying, just finishing up my training, and now ready to find a forever home! Please see the attached videos of my training sessions, where I am having a lot of fun and staying very focused on my trainer.

My trainer/dad says I’m a sweetheart and a bit of a doofus, with my youthful exuberance and joy for life. I love to learn, and I’m good at it! I am also affectionate, love to cuddle with my people, love sleeping in blankets, and love chew toys, especially a favorite water buffalo chew. I am friendly, energetic, playful, and great with other dogs.

Training-wise, I have learned how to sit, heel, down, come, stay, and I have excellent recall. I’m doing great with leash manners, crate training, and house manners. I’m already housebroken and very food-motivated, and I LOVE getting a treat reward. The rescue has paid for an additional 2.5-hour training session in YOUR home with further video/phone consults if needed. Ideally, you should come over to meet me with my trainer, so inquire about me today!
Adoption Fee: $400

Additional YouTube videos of Jax:
https://youtube.com/shorts/RwQQd_0YJoA
https://youtube.com/shorts/RD1kyZ48fD4
https://youtube.com/shorts/5vTopi5690c

LOOKING FOR AN APPLICATION?
