Java Mixed Breed Portland, OR

Mama Java is a sweet girl who is approx 2 years old and 15 pounds.

Here is what her foster Mom has to say about her:
She is sweet and very focused on making people love her- and very insecure whether she will be loved or hurt, so super submissive. I think she has experienced very good people, and hopes for it in everyone, but has also met someone who hurt her, and has the trauma response.
She was not taught boundaries, so we have been working on that, and she loves to please, so she is doing well (until she gets excited!)
Mama Java will be an excellent pet for older children and any aged adult.
She has had a few issues with my dogs, so I recommend an only dog, or someone that is knowledgeable about guarding behaviors. Because my dogs are all over 100 lbs, her rudeness is ignored, until I correct her (many times on a leash, seeing what’s happening, and not allowed to nip) so she is getting better, but must always be monitored if there is another dog.
I would like to add, she is starting to enjoy time with my dogs (we got her 2 weeks before puppies came, so she was super focused on them until just recently- and can also be why she was resource guarding).

Overall, she is a wonderful girl, sweet, smart, and loving wholeheartedly.


She needs a fenced yard.
She will be spayed before adoption, is vetted , microchipped, vaccinated.

Vet references will be checked.
Home check will be done.
