Jasper Junco's Story

Jasper Juno came to us with his best friend, Bella Bluebird, after the pair was surrendered to Los Angeles Animal Care & Control's Palmdale Shelter for reasons unknown. We welcomed both dogs as Frosted Faces, and they quickly captured our hearts. Jasper and Bella are friendly and gentle pups who share a deep bond and truly love being together. They have spent their lives side by side, and we are searching for a special family willing to open their home to both of them, so they can continue their journey together.

Jasper and Bella have spent several months in a foster home, and their foster family only has wonderful things to report:

"One could not ask for two better house guests. Bella and Jasper adore each other, and together they bring warmth, calm, and plenty of tail wags to every room they're in. They've had zero accidents, zero destructive behavior, and somehow - remarkably - don't even bark at the doorbell. Guests are greeted with quiet curiosity and an enthusiastic request for ear scratches and love.

Bella is sweetly spunky for an 11-year-old. She'll chase a ball with enthusiasm (and occasionally even bring it back), squeak a toy with gusto, and then plant herself right next to you for a well-earned snuggle. Jasper is a big, gentle bear of a dog - easygoing, content, and absolutely over the moon every time he hears "good boy." He can catch a ball when the mood strikes, but he's just as happy watching the world go by from the sidelines, tail wagging.

Both dogs are devoted snugglers who simply love being near their people. They adore being brushed - which is fortunate, because they are gloriously fluffy. They ride beautifully in the car, settling in quickly and happy to go anywhere. Jasper walks fantastically on a leash; Bella pulls a bit, particularly when other dogs are around, so she does better in a harness. We are reinforcing basic commands with them, and they have become wonderfully gentle when taking treats. And they remain calm and sweet even when receiving gentle pets from a toddler. We also take them to our mountain property where they do great on hikes and lounging around outdoors.

Bella and Jasper are dedicated to each other, and I hope they will find their forever home together. Bella has some weakness in her back legs, so she'll thrive in a home that lets her take it easy - no steep stairs or rough play. Her leash reactivity toward other dogs means a quieter walking routine suits her well. With this pair you get two dogs who will make you feel like the greatest human alive, every single day. If your home has room for two furry best friends, these two are ready to fill it with love."

To meet this super special duo, please email:
placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
