Meet Jasper, a handsome Boxer mix who’s ready to bounce into a new chapter! This 2-year-old boy came to the shelter as a stray on September 21, 2025, weighing in at 34 pounds of pure energy and personality. Jasper hasn’t been neutered yet, and since we don’t have a vet on staff, that will be the adopter’s responsibility (unless we’re able to arrange it before he leaves). Now that he’s finished his brief “time out”, after his overenthusiastic attempts to make friends led to a few accidental scratches, Jasper is officially cleared from quarantine and ready for a fresh start. He may need some manners work (he’s a bit too fond of humping), but he’s got the charm and spirit of a pup who just wants love and direction. Since Jasper came in as a stray, we don’t know his past or how he does with other dogs yet. He does, however, seem to be housebroken and quick to learn, especially with positive reinforcement and structure. Adoption fee: $45 Note: Geographical adoption restrictions apply.
