Jasper Mixed Breed Madison, WI

Jasper 5-8 years old, 45# is a big sweetheart who loves three things - cuddles, food, and snoring. He sleeps through the day and prefers to do so around his humans so they can hear him snore!
When up and moving, Jasper wants attention more than anything, often placing his head under a hand for some forced scritches.
He is ready for training and food motivated, so he would love to learn with the right teacher. He is shy and skittish to new experiences or people, but relaxes once you gain his trust.
He likes to lounge in his crate during the day with the door open. He would prefer to sleep next to your bed or maybe even in bed with you!
Jasper has an old injury to his hind left leg that has left him with a limp, something he will get evaluated now that he's in Wisconsin.
Overall, it seems Jasper has had some rough years in the past but hasn't let it get him down, and now he wants nothing more than to find a forever home that loves him as much as he loves them.

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters OR they have the option of bringing the pet to Underdog for complimentary completion of these vaccines)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 6mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $275. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $350. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $250.
