My name is Jasmine. I’m about a year and a half old. I’m a spayed female weighing in at a fit and trim 65 lbs. I have all my healthy doggy vaccines too!

I'm shy upon meeting new people and going to new places. But once I have my comfort, I’m a lover, a cuddler, and a hugger. I am dog-friendly when allowed to have a proper intro. I love my furry foster brother and sister. We have our play routines and enjoy each others’ company but I really love my people. I love my foster mom, I love my three foster teenagers, and I love when my foster grandpa comes over! I’m not so comfy around young kids though. I met some families with kids and they were nice. But when they started dancing and singing and laughing, I was not so sure what to expect and I hid behind my foster mom telling her I was scared. So if there are kids in my family, I would like them tween or older. I have good manners! I go potty outside. I don’t take things that are not mine. I know to wait, get back, come, sit, shake, lay, and am learning more all the time. I love car rides and sit like a good girl looking out the window. Squeaky rubber toys and marrow bones are my favorites!

If you would like to be considered as a potential adopter for one of our great dogs, please go to our website- www.luckymuttsrescue.org and submit an application. Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. Please make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions. Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home. Meet and greets take place at our adoption center located in Milwaukee. If you are proceeding with adopting a Lucky Mutt, we will require the dog to have a Martingale collar at the time of adoption, to ensure the dogs safety during the transition to a new home.

Current Adoption Fees Are:
$400+tax for puppies to 3 years old
$350+tax for ages 4-7
$250+tax for ages 8 and up
Bonded pairs vary

The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs.
