Janie's Story

Janie is a sleek black beauty who looks like she may have some Doberman in her mix, but whatever her breed combination is, it created one adorable and lovable puppy. Around 6 months old, Janie is happy-go-lucky, playful, and incredibly smart. She loves being outside, playing with other dogs, chewing on toys, and collecting treats like it's her full-time job. After being found dumped in the woods with Benji, she's proving every day just how resilient and sweet she is.

Janie is very dog friendly and absolutely needs another confident dog in her forever home to help her feel secure. She also does well with cats and calmly ignores the foster's chickens. While she hasn't met kids yet, her foster believes she'd do just fine in a loving family environment. Janie is still learning all the puppy basics, including house training and crate training, and she's currently working on getting comfortable being crated separately from Benji.

Janie is up to date on vaccines, and her spay appointment is in her future. She'll be ready to go home on 5/14 and would love a family that's ready for puppy fun, continued training, and a lifelong best friend.

If you want to apply to adopt please go to https://www.onebyonerescue.org/adoptablepets

Together, we're saving lives—one by one!

One By One Rescue is an all volunteer, 501c3 non-profit foster based rescue.
