Janice

Janice is the last of the 37 we took from a hoarding situation. She was living outside on a chain receiving no socialization at all except feeding time. Her space was filthy and had nothing but a barrel to take cover in. She has been with us here since April 2026 and slowly has come around and accepts attention and pets. We can pick her up with no fuss. She has been learning to walk on a leash although we feel a harness suits her best. She was fostered for 2 weeks on a farm and does great with all sorts of animals. Cats, Dogs all sizes and Poultry. We do not know if she is housebroken but believe she would be great in a home. She is not destructive in any way. She is quiet and calm but once she warms up to you or is with other dogs she starts dancing around and wants to play. She has been spayed and currently weighs 42 lbs.
