Look at Jake’s new profile picture! He did SO great at the adoption event last weekend. He was a 10/10 best boy.

Sadly, Jake is still looking for a forever home. He has only had ONE app since we tagged him…and that was in December.

Our shy boy has moved mountains with becoming braver each and every day. We are just so proud of him and are hoping to find a family that will continue to cheer him on and love this shy boy, endlessly.

Jake loves other dogs and is great with cats! He is such a gentle boy and is believed to be around 2-3 years old.

Jake has a clean bill of health and is up to date on all vetting. He is around 60 lbs. Due to being spooked easily, we are thinking Jake may be best with no kids. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, but quick, sudden movements spook him and he will try to hide.

Jake is believed to have been a street dog in New Mexico, so the past couple of months of having him, we’ve wanted to give him alllll the positive experiences of being a loved pet. Once he knows you, he is incredibly affectionate and loving.
