Jake

Jake the Great is finally here! This animated boy is 3 years old, a tall 55-lbs, and enjoys nothing more than some playtime, long walks, and cuddles on the sofa. Jake did not get off to a great start in life, and by no fault of his own ended up at a Scioto County shelter before being scooped up by PAWS. He is ready for his big break with his forever family. He has no known health issues and has been quick to learn how to be alone in the house when his foster parents are out and about. House trained, learning how leashes and walks work, but maybe a little impatient with dinner, Jake has matured into a more confident gentleman. He is good with cats and dogs and especially appreciates having somebody that can help him work through some of his boundless energy. His next family should be ready to be patient with the goofball. He needs daily exercise and has trouble walking across smooth hardwood floors with his giraffe-like legs.
