Meet Jake

Jake is a black lab mix approximately 6 years old. He's on the quiet side, but once he knows you he loves you. About 60 lbs. He was saved at the last minute from being killed after his owner surrendered him to the shelter. He would love to be a part of your family and have a second chance at a loving home. Jake is an Alpha dog so would need to be placed with dogs that are more submissive in nature. Jake absolutely HATES cats, so that is a huge NO. Jake would be perfect with a man (his previous owner was male) that would spend time being active with him.

Jake has been in rescue for 5 years. He would tell you that, while his rescue family loves him and takes good care of him, he's really looking for a "fur"ever home where he will receive all the love and attention he deserves.
