Her family stepped in to keep him safe and loved, but now Jake needs a new forever home where he can truly belong again.<br/><br/>Jake is a stunning red and white Husky with warm amber eyes and a personality that matches his good looks. He is sweet, affectionate, and full of life. Jake thrives on being included—he wants to go where you go, do what you do, and feel like part of a family. While he has a dog house, he clearly prefers being inside with his people, where he feels most secure and connected.<br/><br/>He does well with kids ages 5 and up, enjoys the company of other dogs, and walks nicely on a leash. Jake has lots of energy and would be happiest with an active family, a home with other large dogs, or someone looking for a working or adventure companion. Jake is generally quiet and easygoing.
