Meet Jade! This lovely pup of approximately 18 month old is a sweet and loving girl that loves to curl up on an available lap. Jade came to the shelter as a stray and was a bit shy at the shelter and is happily residing in a foster home. She is gaining more confidence each day and her love of treats has helped her to settle in and enjoy some reward. Her foster mom states she does know how to sit, is affectionate, take her treats gently, and is eager to please.
Jade enjoyed a small outing to a doggie store and this is helping her build up her social skills and also, helps the foster know more about her in different situations. She is residing well with cats in the foster home but please be aware, that cats in a new home might take time to adjust for both Jade, and the resident cat. Just like people, introductions are needed, and it often takes time to really get to know one another.
Jade loves being in a home setting, but is also anxious to find her furever home where she will decompress and feel safe for the rest of her doggie years.
