Meet Jade
Jade and her 2 sisters were part of an unexpected litter of 8. We were told they were in a bad situation so we reached out to help. Once we met their previous owner we found they were actually really well taken care of and that they just needed help finding homes for the 3 remaining girls. Their 5 other siblings found homes through family and friends. Their Dad is a Blue Merle American Great Dane, about 135 lbs, and their mom is a 60lb Staffordshire terrier. These babies are chunky and healthy and ready for YOU!!
Jade is in a foster home with an older big dog and she is having a blast. She has her foster Dad all to herself and he describes her as a very well balanced puppy, wonderful companion and easy to love! She seems to love discovering sounds and textures, including her own voice. She can spend hours chasing an empty soda bottle bouncing along hard flooring, stealing a towel to drag through the house, pawing at the last bits of kibble in her bowl and wiggling on her back with toys making play growly grumbly noises!! She is a delight!
She is still a puppy so explores most of the world with her mouth. She is learning to Sit for a treat and is doing really great with potty training. She is more than happy to get in your lap for hugs and kisses or follow you around to see where you're going!
She was the biggest of the sisters at their Vet appt and weighed in at about 20 lbs at 9 weeks old and has received her first round of puppy vaccines.
Since she is a Great Dane mix then her spay will be scheduled likely close to a year old so that her body can properly grow. We will monitor that timing and make sure we follow our Veterinarians guidance.
