This is Jackson cute as a button and ready to go!
Jackson does love everything to do with the outdoors! However, he's also the type to curl up next to a nice warm fireplace, or hog all the blankets on the couch when it's snowing. He can be timid at first but his walls come down quickly.
He does his happy dance when it's his turn to go out. He enjoys the yard enclosures we have set up so he can explore off-leash. Jackson is more laid back in his adult years but he definitely needs his exercise just like any other dog! He has packed on the covid weight we ALL are struggling with so we will definitely need some exercise multiple times a day. Who knows he may even become a hiker or a runner?
He will need a home with no animals or children.
So what do we think? Is Jackson your next pup? Email canines@manchesteranimnshelter.org

Note: As with all of our dogs, we strongly recommend obedience classes for new owner and dog to create a life-long bond with the adopted dog based on trust, respect, and rewarding training experiences. Our shelter dogs are strays and we observe and assess their behavior at the shelter which may be somewhat different in a home environment.
