Jack Nicholson

Jack Nicholson is definitely an acquired taste and comes with a little bit of baggage. He's a sweet guy who came from a neglect case so he wasn't well cared for prior to being rescued. He does have an enlarged heart, a heart murmur and a collapsing trachea. He's also hypothyroid. I know it sounds like a lot but this guy still has energy and you'd never know he had all these things at first meet. He's a senior guy that wants a cozy spot to land and a patient person who can show him some kindness in his last years. Jack will be on life long meds for his enlarged heart and his hypothyroidism so he'll need an adopter who is okay with taking all of that on. Jack is great with all animals he meets as well as people. A house with no small children would be better for him though so he can just relax and have his space when he asks for it. <br/><br/>Jack is not yet neutered and still needs a dental but when we brought him in for his appt the vet diagnosed his heart issues so he'll be on a month of meds first before we can decide if anesthesia is safe enough for him.
