Jack is a handsome double dapple dachshund who is both blind and deaf. He is sweet as can be and is curious about his environment. He was surrendered to us because his owner passed away in hospice. Jack needs someone who is experienced with blind and deaf dogs or who is willing to put in the work needed to help Jack live his best life. He is fine with other dogs. Jack needs a good-sized fenced yard, all adult home with people who are home more than not, one level living and no stairs. He needs help with housetraining and is not leash-trained and may never be because of his disabilities. No pools or electric fences. Also, Jack should be allowed to sleep on the big bed and use your furniture! *** Adopters must be willing to travel to central Maryland to meet and adopt Jack and be close enough for an in person home visit.. *** Want to know more about Jack? Email DRNA representative at ann.donnawell@gmail.com. Go to www.drna.org to fill out an adoption application.
