Jack's Story
Meet Jack, who comes to us from the community. Jack is a 6-year-old, 26 lb., underweight French Bull. His foster parents sing his praises and report he has a great appetite so the weight should come on in no time. Jack is very housetrained, good with most dogs, has good manners, is easily corrected, and absolutely loves his car rides and early walks. Even though we feel he has never known kindness, he is great with all men and women. We don't know about small children but feel he would be good with older kids. Jack is totally fine left in the house with no crate (as he does seem to have kennel stress and barks in the crate for about 10 mins.). He is neutered, current on his vaccines, and microchipped. He did test heartworm positive and has been placed on the Proheart / Doxycycline slow kill protocol. Given his medication as prescribed he should test negative within 6-12 months at the latest. Jack prefers not to be around cats...as he does not like them, but other than that he's the perfect little guy to give the soft landing that he is so in need of. If you are interested in meeting Jack, please reach out to us for an application.
