Jack's Story

WE WILL BE HOLDING ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. No appointments necessary. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170.

Jack is about 4 1/2 yrs old. He came into a high kill shelter where we rescued him from. He was very emaciated (only weighed 52 lbs). He is very smart and eager to learn. He loves to play fetch as his favorite but also will keep himself busy with other toys.

He is strong on the Doberman gene, so when he is on a walk, he will bark and lung at strangers if they are within a couple feet radius. (he corrects easily and listens to "no" from his owner) People walking further away than that, he ignores.

He is a very beautiful Dobie who needs a strong owner to give him guidance and structure and they will be amazed on what he can be. He would do best with someone who understands the breed or a similar breed. He needs a home with out children or teens due to his protective nature.

He will not be placed in a home where we do not feel is a safe situation for him or the home. More will be known about me soon.

A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Store, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet.

If you are interested in Jack, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event.

Jack is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits. Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions.

Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. A Path 4 Paws Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please email us at dogrescuelv@hotmail.com before the events to make sure the dog that you are interested in, is scheduled to be there. We have an application process at the time of adoption. You will need proof of address and your drivers license. You must be 21 yrs old to adopt. If you live at home with relatives, we must have verification from the home owner that you are allowed to adopt. Renters must show proof of pet restrictions whether it be weight, age or breed restrictions. We will not adopt a dog that is outside of these restrictions. All family members need to attend for the meet/greet. We limit our adoptions to a 3 hour drive radius of Las Vegas, NV. Out of state adoptions are allowed as long as you are within the 3 hour radius. If you have another dog in the home, you must bring your dog so that a proper introduction can be made prior to the adoption. We do reserve the right to schedule a home check prior to the adoption. Adoption fees do apply. They range from $100 to $450 based on the age, breed and special needs of the dog. All dogs are spay or neutered before they can go home. If they are not altered prior to the adoption event, you will pick up at our vet clinic after they are spayed/neutered.
