Meet Jack, your new adventure buddy 🐾

Jack is a handsome 1-year-old pup who is the total package—polite, eager to please, and ready to be your loyal sidekick. He already knows his basic commands and picks up new skills quickly, making him a joy to train and work with. Whether you’re a first-time dog owner or experienced, he’s the kind of dog that makes everything feel easy.

He gets along well with other dogs and has been exposed to a wide variety of environments, including children, crowds, and even horses. Nothing seems to faze him—he takes it all in stride with a calm, confident attitude. He’s also excellent in his crate, settling in nicely and giving you peace of mind when needed.

Personality-wise, Jack is the perfect balance: polite and well-mannered, but with an eager spark that makes him excited to learn and explore. If you’re someone who loves the outdoors or staying active, he’s ready to keep up with you.

Jack has not been tested with cats in a home setting, but he has been around barn cats and was curious without showing any aggression, which is a great sign depending on your household.

If you’re looking for a friendly, adaptable, and devoted companion who can go from trail buddy to couch companion without missing a beat—Jack might just be your perfect match 💛

Fill out a no obligation dog adoption application today at https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/adoption-process/dog-adoption-application/

Humane Society of Loudoun County's Adoption Policy
We want to make sure each adoption is successful and that each animal is adopted into a family that is the right fit for everyone. All our animals are fully vetted and are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. For our adoption process we will arrange a meet and greet between potential adopters and the animal after an application is submitted. We ask for 2 personal references, check to make sure current animals are vaccinated then we schedule a virtual interview, which is an interview to discuss how to integrate the new arrival into the household, food, equipment, etc. Our adoption fee for cats and kittens is $150. Our dog and puppy adoption fee is $300. Check out our upcoming events here: http://www.humaneloudoun.org/events1.aspx
