Jack's Story
**Located in New Hampshire**

Meet Jack!

Jack is a handsome 6 to 9 month old Rat Terrier mix weighing just 12 pounds! At his age, he’s already pretty close to his adult size, so while he may fill out a little more, we expect him to remain a small little guy!

Jack was pulled from a Texas shelter and he is now getting his chance at finding a wonderful forever family. Jack is truly such a sweet, sweet boy with an absolutely wonderful temperament. He’s incredibly affectionate, friendly, outgoing, and seems to love everyone he meets! He’s playful, happy, and loves getting attention and affection from his people. He’s also wonderful with children!

Jack does good with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to play with once he warms up. He can be a little intimidated by larger dogs initially, but he warms up quickly once he realizes they’re friendly! He’s also shown curiosity toward cats without any aggression, although proper introductions would be important in a home with feline friends.

This little guy is also doing wonderfully with his training! Jack sleeps nicely in his crate at night and keeps it completely clean. He’s been doing great going potty outside, too! He’s still a young pup who will benefit from a consistent schedule, continued training, and a structured routine as he settles into his forever home. He’s also learning his leash manners and making progress with his puppy basics.

Jack is up to date on age vaccinations, neutered and will have his health certificate prior to adoption. He’s an incredibly sweet, affectionate, social little boy who has so much love to give. He’s truly just a good, good dog, and we know he’s going to make one very lucky family an absolutely wonderful companion!

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application
