Izzy currently weighs 35 pounds and will likely not get much bigger, making her not too big and not too small, but juuuust the right size! :)<br/><br/>Izzy is energetic and always ready to play. Her personality is so fun and she’s your “quintessential” pup! She really enjoys being around her people, often checking in with them, especially if her people are young kids. <br/><br/>While Izzy and her siblings were raised in a home with other dogs, cats, and children, Izzy's puppy energy can likely be too rough for small dogs and she views cats as a good game of chase. Izzy prefers slow introductions with new dogs to make sure their personalities jive. <br/><br/>Like most puppies, Izzy is a power chewer but does well to stick with chewing only her toys. She takes her kitchen clean up duty seriously and is dedicated to catching any snacks that mom might drop when cooking and kids might drop while eating.<br/><br/>Pooch Pontoon recently extended a special invitation for Izzy to experience a fun day ON the water and IN the water and Izzy had the time of her life splish splashing! Contact us today!<br/><br/>If you’d like to be considered to adopt, the first step in the process is to submit an application through our website: http://athenscaninerescue.com/adoption-procedures/. Our adoption fee is $250 per dog over the age of 6 months and $300 per dog 6 months or younger. We accept payment by Venmo, PayPal, or card.<br/><br/>This includes: basic vet care (i.e. basic vaccinations, including boosters completed after adoption, spay/neuter, heartworm/flea preventatives, and treatment for any health needs while in our care), a microchip, a week’s worth of food for the trial-period, and a harness lead.<br/><br/>All in state applications will be considered with some preference given to more local applications. WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING OUT OF STATE APPLICATIONS FOR DOGS SIX MONTHS OR YOUNGER.<br/><br/>We do not have a facility and operate through a network of foster homes. Thus, we do not have a phone number.
