Introducing Izzy, a blonde bombshell of the Golden Retriever kind! She will be 2 years old next month. She is on the lookout for a family who will love her … and her alone! Unlike most retrievers, she needs to be the only pet. When initially rescued in her puppyhood, she was starving so she developed food aggression with other animals, but she does not bite that hands that feed her.
She is a sweet gal that just needs someone that has time to help her transform into her best self. This will involve teaching her what are dog appropriate toys other than her favorite which are balls. She will pick up every loose thing she finds like towels, bags, paper, dog bed stuffing, and the list goes on ?. She will need supervised so that she does not ingest anything that could cause a blockage.
She has lived outside the majority of her life, so she is not housebroken. With that being the case, she is not crate trained either and displays high anxiety when confined in one.
