Izzy's Story

Izzy is a 4-year-old Aussie who came in to rescue when her elderly owner had to go into memory care. She is a little overweight but has already lost some weight with regular walks. She was taken in to rescue at about 70 lb but should probably be closer to 55 to 60. She loves everybody... People, kids, cats, and dogs. She is crate trained, leash trained and house trained. If you are looking for a mature, easy, trained companion, Izzy fits the bill.

She is vaccinated and spayed. She is heartworm positive but has started treatment and treatment will be covered by the rescue at our vet in Waitsfield. Because of this, she needs a foster or adopter locally.

Her adoption fee is $500. To apply to adopt (or foster to adopt) go to cvcaninerescue.org
