Isla GA's Story

Isla has been in foster care since 10 months old! Her location in “country” South Fulton makes it difficult to get her out and about to meet people. Found as a stray, she was lucky to be cared for by a great team of people (yes, team!) but she needs her own person. Is that you?

Isla currently lives with an xl Pyrenees on a farm and is cautious with other dogs. But she’s never met a human stranger! Farm life is hard work and often there isn’t much time left for individual attention. At 4 years old she deserves a house to come in at night to and a family that will take her on her own walks. She is so affectionate and just wants to be loved on and cuddled on the couch. She’ll also be ready to jump in the car for an adventure at a moments notice!

Leash and crate trained, the one category Isla doesn’t do well in is kids. She would be perfect for a couple with grown children, or anyone who is looking to be only a pet parent. At this time, we are seeking households without other dogs for Isla; however experienced dog owners with a multi pet household may apply.

Isla is available for adoption in GA, CA, or NYC as Furry Foots has partners in all three states. Her transport if adopted is generously donated.

All dogs adopted through Furry Foots are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and up to date on shots all covered via donations. All adoptions come with 6 hours of free dog training (in person when applicable). Please contact Ellie via Petfinder or email furryfootsatl@gmail.com for an adoption application.
