Isla (26-002 D)'s Story

After 3 months in rescue Isla is thrilled to report she just had her 3rd and final heartworm treatment!

Isla is a super chill 2-3yr old girl weighing about 80lbs. Best guess is she's a Great Pyrenees mix. Isla is used to the chaos of kids and foster kitties running around and is super gentle with all of them. All she really wants in life is a nice bone to chew and an endless supply of pets. If your looking for a couch potato and cuddle bug this is your girl!

She'd love to have a yard to explore and enjoy the occasional bought of zoomies in. She does take her guarding instinct seriously and will alert you to the presence of the neighbors or other animals. She would do best in a country setting away from the chaos of city living.

Isla would prefer to be your one and only dog love. While she enjoys the company of dogs, and is friendly with others outside the home she likes her own space. She is quite attached to the safe space of her crate and gets upset if other dogs encroach on her space. She does currently live with another dog and does well overall but requires a private area for her crate.

She will need a repeat test to confirm HW negative status in 5 months.

Apply to meet Isla @ Happy Feet Pet Rescue
