At 12.4 lbs, she's a beautiful girl who, according to her foster, is even more stunning in person than her photos suggest.

Bella came to Little Paws as an owner surrender due to housing circumstances—another wonderful dog who simply needs a fresh start. She's cuddly, responsive, and eager to please, with an easy, joyful energy that lights up any room. When she's happy to see you, she'll come bounding over with a toy in her mouth as a little welcoming gift.

Environment

Bella is fully house trained and needs no crate—she's well settled and comfortable in a home environment. She has high energy and will need daily walks and regular playtime to keep her happy and stimulated. She loves walks but is still working on her leash manners, so some training patience will be needed there.

A securely fenced yard is a must for Bella—partly for her energy outlet, and partly because she has a strong prey drive when it comes to birds. She will take off after them, so outdoor time needs to be in a secure space. She settles beautifully in the car, napping without any fussing or barking.

Bella can be vocal, so she'll do best in a home without shared walls. She's good for a little while alone but does best with regular company and engagement throughout the day.

Pets & People

Bella is great with people—she's a little shy when first meeting someone new, but she warms up quickly and becomes wonderfully affectionate. She does great with other dogs and actually seems to prefer having a canine companion around to play with. She's comfortable and playful with her foster's dogs and loves toys.

Around food and treats, Bella is a gentle, curious little lady—she's interested in what's on offer but not pushy or greedy about it.

Location

Bella is available for adoption from Miami Beach, FL. Please email juliejohnson@littlepawsdr.org with any questions or complete an adoption application at the button above. The adoption fee for Bella is $375.00.
