Irish's Story

Meet Irish!
Irish is a gorgeous 5-year-old black Greyhound with a sweet, affectionate personality and plenty of charm.

She's friendly, outgoing, confident, and absolutely loves being close to her people. Shes the kind of girl who is happy to stay by your side and soak up all the attention.

Irish has great leash manners and is calm and easy to handle in everyday situations. She has previously lived around other breeds of dogs and has experience with children. She sounds like a girl who will enjoy settling into home life and becoming part of the family.

Irish can get very excited around other dogs, particularly smaller dogs, so shell need a home that can continue working with her on staying calm and focused when other dogs are nearby. Because of her strong interest in small dogs, Irish is not suitable for a home with small dogs or other small animals.
With people, though, Irish is a lovely combination of affectionate, confident, and easygoing. Give her some continued guidance, a comfy bed, and people to love, and we think this beautiful girl has all the makings of a wonderful companion.
