Iris's Story

Meet Iris 🌼
Iris is an estimated 2-year-old medium mixed-breed with a gentle and quiet personality. She can be shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she warms up quickly and becomes very loving and affectionate.
She walks well on a leash and enjoys being out and about. Her spunky attituded lets her thinks that she's allowed to rule the world and in her perfect world there is no cats to pester her, she'd prefer some place without cats so she can continue living in her perfect little world. Iris enjoys her independence a little too much and is a flight risk. So we recommend home with a fenced in yard and the time to build trust on a leash.
Iris would do best in a home that gives her time to adjust and understands her calm, soft nature paired with a bit of independence. With patience and consistency, she will make a loyal and sweet companion for the right family. Her adoption fee is $54.00 that includes a 2026 Holmes county license, Bordetella vaccine, 7 way vaccine, microchip leash collar, treats and toys.
