Iris's Story

Iris is a very sweet special needs girl that will require a lot of love and attention to undo the rough life she had before. Even though Iris is very timid and scared, you can tell she really wants to come out of her shell and be a normal Husky- and there are very brief moments where she allows herself to remember what it is to be a Husky again and it is one of the most rewarding experiences to see. One area that Iris beats all the other dogs is that she likes the calm and quiet - and probably wouldn't even mind if you were at work 8 hours a day. Iris would do best in a very calm and relaxing home. Even though she likes the calm and quiet, Iris has a lot of potential to break out of her shell and to be a really great dog- if she can learn to trust at least one human.

Iris would do best in a house with other mellow dogs or dogs that can respect her personal space. Iris might not be good around kids unless they know how to be respectful of her special needs and personality. Again, Iris is a special needs dog who needs someone that can give her a lot of love and attention to bring her back to being a happy and playful husky. Can you be the one that helps Iris?

Approx weight:65 lbs

If you would like to learn more about our sweet Iris, please apply today! www.lunasiberianrescue.dog

Luna Siberian Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our Adoption Process... The adoption process: An adoption application needs to be filled out so we know a little more about you and your home. This helps us match the right dog up with the right family. If it looks like a good match we will set up a time where the family can meet the dog and spend time together. It is required that all members of the household and their current dogs (if any) be present during the meet and greet. If things go well and the family decides to adopt, Luna Siberian Rescue will deliver the dog to its new family on a day/time agreed upon by both parties. Adoption fees are 300.00- 400.00 and that includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies. up to date vaccinations and deworming. Adoption prices for puppies does not include spay/neuter if they are under 6 months of age. An adoption contract must be signed by both parties upon adoption. Come Meet Our Pets.
