Iris is a silly and playful little girl, she is 5 months old and currently weighs 18 lbs.
We believe she will be medium size as mom weighed 30lbs and was a smooth coated Terrier mix.
Iris was found in a cardboard box with her siblings and mom when she was just a couple weeks old. She was brought into rescue and they are all safe now. Iris has two brothers (Eli and Wyatt) and one sister (Olivia) who are also available for adoption and will all be adopted separately.
Iris is sweet, affectionate and desires love and attention. Shes done well with strangers and just needs a little time and patience to warm up. She’s playful and loves her toys, your typical puppy who wants to play, sleep, eat and repeat, overall her energy level is a 7 out 10. Iris gets along great with the other dogs, she takes cues from the older ones and they help her confidence, she will need another dog of similar size and energy in the home as well as a secure fenced yard to run and play.
Iris does great in the car, she’s sure to make a great adventure buddy. Overall Iris is a silly, fun and loving pup, she would benefit from a patient family who will continue guiding her and show her all the world has to offer.
