Ingo's Story

Hello, my name is Ingo! I am a 4-year-old Vizsla. I originally came from Texas, but I have lived in Maine most of my life. I am a very special boy. I am very sweet and loving. I LOVE adventure and really need a family with a love for the outdoors. I am kennel-trained and potty-trained. I do very well in a house. My old family loved me so much and taught me everything I needed to know to be the best addition to any family. I come with my jacket and boots because you can take the boy out of Texas, but you can't take the Texas out of the boy! Vizsla's are bred to be hunting dogs with good stamina. I am a purebred Vizsla and have very typical exercise needs for the breed. Here at the shelter, I have fallen in love with brain-stimulating puzzle toys and would love it if my new family could provide these to keep me mentally enriched! I would be open to meeting other dog companions, and I could potentially live with a cat! I would do great with dog-savvy children as well! Please come bust me out of the shelter! My friends taking care of me do a great job, but my neighbor barks a whole lot, and I could use a moment of peace!
