Indy Joe's Story

Indy Joe is 3 years old and weighs 19lbs. He is a sweetheart of a dog and enjoys being around people. Indy Joe gets along with other non-dominant dogs, and he really loves to play with toys. Indy Joe is small enough to be carried around, should the need arise. He does walk well on a leash. Indy Joe is ready to find his new furever home. Boston Terrier and Short Nose Rescue of Oklahoma's Adoption Policy

All Boston Terrier and Short Nose Rescue of Oklahoma dogs are fully vetted at the time of adoption which includes spay/neuter, all vaccines - Rabies, Bordetella, and DHLP - along with heartworm check and the first month of preventative, and a vet check. Adoption fees vary per dog, but generally range from $250 to $750 depending on age and what vetting the dog required. The adoption fee is on a cash basis, is non-refundable, and is due at the time of the adoption. All adoption agreements state that the dog will be returned to the rescue if the adopter can no longer keep the dog for any reason. We highly recommend allowing at least a month for a dog to adjust; oftentimes settling into a new home can take time and lots and lots of patience. Since we are run by a group of volunteers who have full-time jobs as well, the application process can take a little while. On average, applications are processed within a week and include checking veterinary and personal references, background checks, and home visits. Also since we are foster based the dog may be located in Muskogee, Tulsa, or OKC.
