Indy's Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Indy is a 3-year-old, 70 lb sweetheart who was rescued by Good Samaritans after being abandoned. He’s currently in a foster home, but the busy household isn’t the right fit for him—he’s a little too interested in the resident kittens, so he’s looking for a home of his own.

He’s friendly, playful, energetic, and very people-oriented. Indy loves being active, going for walks, playing fetch (though he may get a little distracted mid-game), and just being near his humans. He’s also a great car rider and easy to bathe.

Indy is highly food-motivated, which makes training a great opportunity for him. His fosters are currently working on leash skills and basic manners—he’s eager to learn and responds well.

Indy would do best with an active adopter or family who can give him structure, and affection. He has done well with older children and may do well with other dogs his size with proper introductions.

He has a big heart and is ready to share it with a forever family.

Questions: kimberly.vanlaningham@gmail.com

Age: Approx 3 years

Weight: 70 lbs (underweight but working on putting some lbs on)

Temperament: Gets along with people/older kinds and other dogs his size with proper introduction.

Training: Housetrained, crate-trained, working on basics

Vetting: Neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm treatment is paid/in process

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.

We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself.
