Indiana's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I'm Indiana. I ended up at a shelter with my littermates at just 6 weeks old, but we were all rescued and now I live in a foster home with one of my sisters. Now I am almost 3 months old and ready to find a family!

Being a Great Pyrenees mix, I'm going to be pretty big when I grow up. I'm currently 25lbs but you can expect me to be around 80-90lbs when I'm grown. I have a light brown patch over my eye and my ears have a little golden color to them. I'm often called handsome, but thats not my name!

I am a big cuddle guy and will let you hold me for hours. I love being pampered. I especially LOVE small children. I want to jump on them, lick them, and love on them. I'm told I can be a little too enthusiastic.

I'm named after Indiana Jones because I am not afraid of anything! I love to explore, play, and wrestle. I will bark at anything that looks sketchy and when the big dogs sneak up on me at night. I'm a big tough guy. I don't even mind loud noises, like when my foster mom is trying to get my attention.

I like to try to play with the cat and will run right up to her, trying to learn not to chase her but I can't always help it.

When I'm tired, I'll go find a quiet spot to nap. I sleep in my crate at night, my foster mom keeps a blanket and bones in there so I enjoy it.

- Indiana is currently in a SPIN foster home in DFW area of Texas. Out of state applicants are responsible for arranging their own transport as we don't provide any. Indiana will officially be available for pick up May 23rd but we are starting to take applications for him now. His adoption fee is $300. My forever home MUST have a dog to play with me and teach manners.

Apply to adopt at www.spinrescue.org
