Iggy's Story
Meet Iggy!

A tiny 5-pound gentleman with a big Yorkie heart. At 7 years old, he's past the puppy chaos and fully committed to the good life: soft blankets, gentle walks, and a human who loves him. Iggy came to us after life threw him a few curveballs, but he's handled it with quiet resilience. He bonds deeply once he feels safe and will happily follow his person from room to room like a loyal little shadow. Iggy would thrive in a calm home where he can enjoy companionship, routine, and lots of snuggles. He's ready to trade his rescue kennel for a forever lap.

Iggy has a gentle nature and an affectionate heart. He gets along with other small dogs and enjoys meeting new people. He is not cat tested, so not sure how he would respond. Because of his size, he'd do best in a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and cherished. He walks great on a leash so a fenced in yard is not a must.
He is not potty trained but is working on it with very good results. (regression is possible when in a new environment).
He is not a fan of the crate but will go in with a little treat coaxing. At night he does sleep in the bed with his foster mom and their other yorkie.

Iggy is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his shots. He is on flea, tick and heartworm preventatives and must continue at his new home. Iggy came in with basically no teeth to start with and after a much needed dental, it left him toothless. Iggy might have no teeth but that does not stop him from eating and taking soft treats. It is recommended that you feed him food that, when mixed with a little bit of water gets soft, and it will be no problem for him to scarf it right down.

He is being fostered in York, PA so approved applicants and their family and resident dogs will have to travel to York for a meet and greet before being approved for adoption.

If you're looking for a loyal, sweet little bundle of love, Iggy is ready to show you just how big his heart really is.
Please fill out an application for adoption on our website. www.zoeshouserescue.com

Zoe's House Inc.
Kennel license #9117
P.O.
