*Special Needs*<br/><br/>This is Ida! Ida is a snuggly little potato who is looking for a special family to call her own. Ida is blind, but otherwise a healthy girl. Her vet believes she may have had eye ulcers that were left untreated, ultimately leading to her blindness. Despite being blind, Ida has adapted remarkably well and gets around her foster mom’s backyard by moving cautiously and sometimes using a crawling stance as she navigates her surroundings. When she’s on a leash, Ida is able to walk more like a “normal” dog because she uses the tension of the leash to help guide her. She also listens carefully to the sounds around her for guidance and direction.
