Icee's Story

Icee is a 10-month-old Husky who is still learning that the world can be a safe and fun place. She didn’t have the best start, so new people and situations can feel overwhelming at first—but once she knows you, her true personality comes out.

With people she trusts, Icee is playful, affectionate, and full of silly puppy energy. She loves toys, enjoys interactive play, and has that fun, wiggly Husky charm. She’s the kind of dog who bonds closely with her people and will absolutely make you smile once she feels comfortable.

Icee will need a patient adopter who understands that building trust takes time. She would do best in a calmer home with older, respectful kids who can give her space and avoid overwhelming interactions. A quieter environment and positive, consistent guidance will help her continue to grow in confidence.

She may enjoy having a dog friend, but she can be a bit socially awkward, so any introductions should be thoughtful. A calm, tolerant dog or a playful, well-socialized companion would likely be the best fit.

Icee is looking for someone who will go at her pace and help her continue to learn and feel safe. With time, structure, and kindness, she has all the potential to become a loyal, fun, and deeply rewarding companion.

If you’re willing to give her a little patience at the start, Icee will give you her whole heart.
