Meet Huxton<br/><br/>Some dogs make an impression the moment you see their photo, and Huxton is one of those dogs. Huxton was named by a dedicated volunteer during a difficult month, and she hit the nail on the head with this handsome boxer boy.<br/><br/>Before coming to rescue, Huxton was wandering the streets in a pack of stray dogs. We believe he had been used by a backyard breeder and discarded when he was no longer useful. A local rescuer working tirelessly to help the overwhelming number of homeless dogs in her area aske for help.<br/><br/>Huxton was originally listed as a senior boxer, but we aren't convinced. Based on his energy and demeanor, we suspect he's closer to 3 or 4 years old. We'll know more after his veterinary evaluation.<br/><br/>Despite never having the stability of a loving family, he is good with children, gets along well with other dogs, and has the kind of easygoing personality that makes him a pleasure to be around. We are committed to matching all of our dogs with the perfect loving forever homes. Our adoption process follows the steps below. You will first need to fill out an adoption application on our website (www.ChelseasHopeBoxerRescue.com). Please fill out the entire application and submit it on-line or email it to info@chelseashopeboxerrescue.com. Please be sure to answer all questions fully & truthfully. This a enables us to help in making the best match for your family. After submitting the application you will be contacted by a coordinator in your area. They will review personal & vet references and schedule a home visit. Once your application is approved, you will be matched up with the perfect pup for your family! We recommend getting preapproved so when the right dog comes along, you are ready!
