Hi, I'm Hutch. I'm 3 years old, and I'm still trying to understand how I ended up here. I used to have a home, but the other dog there didn't really like me, and I guess there just wasn't room for me anymore. That's been really hard, and I've been feeling pretty quiet and a little sad lately. I'm just taking it all in and hoping things will get better soon. Even though my heart feels a little heavy right now, I still love being around people—especially kids. They make me feel safe and happy. I get along great with other dogs too, and I'd really love a friend who actually wants to be my buddy. I'm a gentle, social, and loving guy. I might be a little shy at first, but once I know I'm safe, my sweet side really shines through. All I want is a place where I'm wanted, where I can relax, and where I can finally feel at home again.
