Hunny's Story

Meet Hunny -- A Resilient, Loving Pup Ready for Her Forever Home
Hunny's story begins on a quiet country road, where she was found alone near a highway and farm fields -- recently having had a litter and most likely abandoned. Despite everything she's been through, Hunny has held onto her gentle spirit and her love for people.
She's estimated to be 2-5 years old, weighs about 50 lbs, and appears to be a pitbull mix. When rescued, Hunny was severely underweight, so she gets very excited about mealtime and has been gaining weight beautifully. Her foster family has helped her flourish, and she's now healthy, happy, and learning what it means to simply be a dog again.
šŸ’› Personality & Temperament
Sweet, affectionate, and snuggly -- Hunny loves attention and bonds deeply with her people. She also loves snuggles!
Playful and joyful -- she enjoys playing ball and frolicking in the yard.
Great with others -- she has done wonderfully with her foster parents (male & female), their dog, and their grandchild.
Resilient and trusting -- despite likely having had 2-3 litters and being left on her own, she remains gentle and eager to love.
🐾 Ideal Home
Hunny deserves a home where she can finally be the pup herself -- safe, cherished, and free from worry. She would thrive with someone who enjoys spending time with her, giving her affection, playtime, and stability. She's ready to leave her past behind and step into a life filled with kindness.
🌼 Why Hunny Is Special
Her resilience, sweetness, and eagerness to connect make her an unforgettable dog. She's not just looking for a home -- she's looking for someone who will let her blossom into the happy, carefree companion she was always meant to be.
Up to date on all age-appropriate shots.
