He is a 6 year old neutered male Great Dane who weighs 115 lbs. Humphrey was rescued after he was abandoned by his family. We feel so lucky to have the chance at finding this handsome boy the devoted family he deserves! Humphrey is looking for a family experienced with Great Danes that will give him the love and patience he deserves as he settles into his new home. Don't let his age fool you... he is full of life and loves to run and play in the backyard. His love of zoomies and exercising is why we are requiring his forever home to have a securely fenced yard for him to enjoy. Humphrey is very friendly and enjoys meeting new people. Once he wins you over with his charming personality and good looks he'll lean in for scratches. Humphrey has been good with other dogs, seems housebroken, loves to explore new places, and will unquestionably be a wonderful addition to the family willing to give him a chance. He is good on a leash but very strong. While he is good with children we recommend larger children given his size. He is presently fostered in Mills River NC- you must be local to this area to be eligible for adoption as we require a home visit to be conducted. We also will conduct a vet reference check on your current/past pets.
