Humphrey

This senior, 9 y/o, boy came to us when his Mom needed to move into an appartment that would not allow dogs over 20lbs. He was living with two other dogs (both small) and as his Mom told us.... he was a foster fail. She had him for 8 yrs. It was very hard giving him up. She had no choice. We are finding him to be a nice dog for a family or couple or single person. He would do great as your only pet (loving the full attention) but he may be Ok in a home with another small dog. Humphrey and your dog would need to have 2 meet-and-greets at the shelter before he could go home with you. He was just at our fund raiser (Dog walk) recently and did great. <br/><br/>Humphrey is a playful, but chill dog, he is fun, loving, loves to run around in the yard, loves to lounge with his person, very food motivated, a great eater. Sleeps all night. He loves people and is very friendly.<br/>- Compatible with female dogs<br/>- Compatible with older children (10 and above)<br/>- Not compatible with male dogs, cats, birds or wild animals<br/>- Not know if compatible with small children<br/><br/>Stop by to fill out an adoption application and spend as much time as you like with our dogs. Please call your veterinarian to permit them to speak with us for our vet check. If you rent, bring proof (lease/contract) that you are allowed to have a dog.<br/><br/>We offer a free session with our trainer, Canine Cooperative, once an adoption is finalized.<br/><br/>Our adoption fee is $150 for dogs.
