Huckleberry 's Story

Huck is a 7 year old Plott Hound (or possible mix), neutered male, approximately 49 pounds, and up-to-date on vaxes. He’s healthy, vigorous, active, athletic, and energetic. He loves people and other dogs, is gentle when playing with a bossy senior female resident dog. He’s eager to please and has some basic commands, but he would benefit from a basic obedience class as his recall is unreliable when he’s fixated on squirrels, invaders, and fairies. He walks nicely on leash and takes small treats from your fingers, very gently. Huck is house trained and has good house manners. He loves to nap in his crate or a dog bed. He came with a warning against cats, but he has not been cat tested here beyond barking at cats outside his fence. He’s a cheerful, happy dog and loves to be near people. He does like children, but if your munchkins are in a constant battle for who can scream the loudest or run the fastest down the hall, Huck will politely decline your invitation to stay, he is a mature boy in years and prefers more of a quieter atmosphere.

If you would like more information about this sweet boy, contact Kristin at (865) 599-4262 or send us an email.
