HUCKLEBERRY Labrador Retriever Hamilton, NJ

Huckleberry (Huck) is a silver lab puppy (DOB 10/28/23) who was surrendered to PRM after his rescuer was unable to keep him. Huck is a typical puppy, playful, active and curious. We are still working on house breaking, but he’s getting the idea. He is very treat motivated so training has been fairly easy. Huck is in foster with 2 grown male dogs and 4 cats and is appropriate with each. He loves wrestling with his foster brothers and going for walks. Of course we are still working on leash manners. Huck sleeps in his crate all night without issue, but struggles if left alone during the daytime. This may change with time as he grows older and more comfortable and secure. Huck would do well with another playful pup who could help to keep him busy. He is shy meeting new people, so socialization will be an important part of his training.

He is up to date on his vaccines and will be neutered when he is age-appropriate. His neuter and microchip will be included in his adoption fee.

Applicants must live within 60 min of Hamilton, NJ to be considered. A vet check will be conducted for each application and a solid vet history for current and past pets will be verified. All current animals in the home must be up to date on vaccinations prior to the vet reference check.
