He came to us at around 8 months old alongside four of his littermates, and it's clear he didn't get much early socialization. Because of this, Howie is extremely timid and can be unsure in new situations or around unfamiliar people.<br/><br/>Despite his shyness, there's a sweet, sensitive dog just waiting to blossom. Howie will need a patient and understanding adopter who's willing to move at his pace and help him build confidence through positive experiences. With time, consistency, and kindness, he has so much potential to grow into a loyal and devoted companion.<br/><br/>Howie is currently awaiting his neuter surgery, and our hope is to have a home lined up so he can smoothly transition into his new life once he's ready.
