Howard

Howard is a 3 year old, 56 lb pup who is easy to love and still waiting for a home of his own.<br/><br/>Howard is a sweet, easygoing dog who takes a minute to settle into new environments, but warms up quickly once he realizes you're a friend. He's food motivated, enjoys spending time with people, and has a nice balance of being independent without being distant.<br/><br/>He walks well on leash with little to no pulling and has an overall relaxed personality. Around other dogs, he's shown friendly social behavior and especially enjoyed running the fence and playing with another shelter pup named Star.<br/><br/>Since Howard has been in foster care before, he has had the chance to show his true personality and polite manners in a home. He's an easygoing, lower energy guy looking for a soft place to land. <br/><br/>As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.<br/><br/>To meet/adopt, visit us in Greensboro, NC from 12-4pm any day except Tuesdays; no appointment needed.
