Howard's Story

Howard is approximately five years old and is in foster care in Marathon, Texas.
Howard is a cheerful fellow and he's not afraid to tell you about it! With ears as long as the Texas summer days, Howard gets along great with the other dogs (male and female) in his foster home, even with his rowdy play style. He has an adorable habit of throwing his toys up in the air like a seal, and while he is friendly towards every person he meets, he has an independent side too and is happy to chill by himself.

Like many rescue dogs, Howard arrived with a few medical issues. The good news is that everything has been diagnosed, treatment has begun (hence the cone of shame) and he is doing great! We're committed to seeing this treatment through and will cover the remaining medical costs. The only requirement is that appointments be scheduled with one of our local veterinary partners.

Thank you for considering an OTAT-WTX rescue! All pets are living in foster homes, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines.

If you are interested in adopting, or for more information, please visit our website: https://otatwtx.org/adopt
